Introduction:

The Self-study process created a great way out for developing a shared understanding on IB’s practices while bringing the school community in the opportunities of collaborations and self-reflections while self-evaluating the programme (IB-PYP) implementations, recognizing and appreciating our strengths as well as identifying the weaknesses while setting the goals for improvements. This self-study journey is a significant milestone in our community’s understanding of IB philosophy and PS&Ps, fostering growth sprout among leadership and staff.

Self – Study Questionnaire took place over 12 months from 23 March 2022 to 28 February 2023, involving all stakeholders – staff, students and parents of the school’s community.

The process of self-study took place as

1. Whole-School Approach (collaborations and workshops)

2. In committees (Members involve from all three schools)

3. Voice and Choice (selecting the aspect for PDP)

4. Process as an inquiry (Sharing readings on PRC, PDs, reflections, collaborations)

5. Appreciations (Small celebrations on the noticeable achievements)
